The Central Readers’ Council (CRC) is an independent charity set up in 1922 to ‘maintain and develop’ the work of Readers in The Church of England and the Church in Wales. CRC works closely with both denominations, centrally and with the 42 dioceses covering every community.
Four ways in which CRC supports lay ministry:
Transforming Ministry Magazine
A quarterly magazine for Readers and licensed lay ministers
Resources for learning and development
Resources to support you in your ministry
Grants for ministry development
Bequests dating back decades support further training today
